As part of the up-grade package the following components are replaced:
- new servo motor for main drive
- servo controller for main drive
- new servo motor for festoon
- servo controller for festoon drive
- new PLC
- up-grade to state of the art dual channel E-stop
Electrical and mechanical repairs carried out as part of the up-grade:
- electrical cabinet to be completely rewired with new components
- new pneumatic piping and valves
- new splice bars
- function test at POEM workshop

- modicication to new core shafts (5'' or 6'' available) with improved handling (W+D 191 design)
- integration with W+D expert Online remote diagnostic system
